Helicopter Test Pilot Services

Ground and Flight Tests / Test Campaigns for Development and Certification of helicopter modifications (internal and external), additional equipment installations (e.g. cargo basket, camera system, FLIR, HISL), Night Vision Goggles (NVG) compatible lighting (cockpit-, cabin- and exterior lighting), and cockpit modifications (e.g. exchange/modernization of displays, COM/NAV/FMS systems). Validation and tuning of Full Flight Simulators (FFS), Flight Training Devices (FTD) and Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainers (FNPT). Ground and Flight Tests (Test Campaigns) for Development of FFS Flight Models and FTD Flight Models. Flight Validation according to ICAO Doc 9906 Volume 5 of Instrument Flight Procedures (Helicopter Point-in-Space Procedures). Acceptance of the helicopter at the OEM and verification of the specifications requested by the customer and contractually specified services. Operational Test and Evaluation for identification of helicopter's Capabilities, Limitations and Weaknesses. Creation and review of a Flight Test Operation Manual (FTOM) according to EASA Part-21 and EASA Flight Test Operations Manual Guide and tailored both to the size of the company and to the complexity of the flight test activity. Creation and review of a Flight Test Programme (FTP) in accordance with the requirements of the applicable EASA Certification Specifications (CS-27 or CS-29) and Acceptable Means of Compliance, including the required Flight Test Cards and Risk Analyses. Creation and review of a Flight Test Report (FTR) for submission to the appropriate aviation authority. Professional project management, which is carried out in cooperation with an experienced EASA Category 2 Lead Flight Test Engineer (LFTE) / Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), from development to successful certification.
