Helio offers renewable energy solutions for mainstream consumers, with a mission to accelerate the consumer decentralized renewable energy scenario. Helio is an early stage venture located in the Netherlands. We are creating consumer products and services for people to generate some of their own clean energy and monitor their energy generation digitally. We focus on user experience – capitalizing on design and proven technology. Our founders have extensive experience in the consumer electronics industry and more recently, based on their ambition to lead the entire industry into a more sustainable future, wanted to lead a fast, inspirational and innovative company delivering best-in-class sustainability-driven products and services. Helio’s first product is a plug-and-play solar charger for portable devices linked to a web-enabled social community. It enables consumers to easily produce some of their own clean energy and contribute to a better environment.
