Helium Arts

In Ireland, there are 100,000 children and teenagers living every day with the long-term effects of illness. Helium Arts brings positivity to these children’s lives through award-winning, age-appropriate participatory arts programmes. Our programmes empower children to express their experiences in new and imaginative ways, and in turn help them to rise above negative emotions. Helium’s projects have benefited nearly 4,500 children and their families across 10 counties since our formation in 2009. Our mission is to empower children and teens living with illness through their creativity and the arts. Our vision is that all young people in hospital in Ireland will have the opportunity to explore their creativity through our projects.
