The
Hellenic Association for Gestalt Therapy (HAGT) - Ελληνική Εταιρεία Ψυχοθεραπείας Gestalt (ΕΕΨG) - was founded in June 2002 in Thessaloniki.
It is a scientific and non-profit organization. It was founded as an answer to the need of bringing together individual Gestalt psychotherapists, Gestalt educational centers and Gestalt organizations that have been active in Greece for many years and it has the legal form of a union.
The Hellenic Association for Gestalt Therapy is the only official Greek representation of Gestalt in the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (E.A.G.T) and the National Organization for Gestalt Therapy, authorized by EAGT to represent Gestalt Therapy in Greece.
The Hellenic Association for Gestalt Therapy is also an ordinary member of the National Organisation for Psychotherapy of Greece (NOPG), representative of the European Association for Psychotherapy- (ΕΑΡ) for Greece.
