The NUHS Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH) serves as a comprehensive hub dedicated to the clinical adoption of Practice Changing Innovations for the health system of the future. CIH supports innovators in demonstrating the clinical value of their breakthroughs, with the overarching goal of transforming care delivery and improving population health. CIH appreciates the importance of partnering and collaborating with stakeholders and partners across the healthtech ecosystem to effectively serve as a one-stop hub. The Practice Changing Innovations (PCI) programme is a flagship initiative of NUHS. Through this CIH-supported programme, rigorously selected home-grown innovations with the potential to significantly impact clinical practice are rapidly deployed within NUHS, with plans for eventual scaling both nationally and globally. Additionally, CIH offers clinical services to selected innovators outside the PCI programme, facilitating not only clinical testing within NUHS hospitals and polyclinics but also the deployment of these innovations. CIH has established a dynamic co-innovation community, enabling both local and international innovators to expedite their journey towards clinical adoption. The centre also contributes to talent development efforts, fostering a culture where "Everyone is an Innovator." By mentoring students from various faculties and institutions, as well as aspiring clinician innovators, CIH provides a supportive environment for the development and advancement of new ideas and inventions.
