TellMe is a platform that connects students with limited professional networks directly to professionals in their career fields of interest through a smart matching system, building their networks from scratch. Networking is critical for young people to land career opportunities because it helps them build valuable relationships, gain insider knowledge, and access opportunities that may not be publicly available. Networking is not as accessible as it should be, and it is challenging for students from marginalized (low-income, first-generation, rural, etc.) backgrounds to contact leading or successful professionals in their field(s) of interest when their own networks are limited. TellMe is here to confront this and make networking accessible for all.
