We simply want the best research outcomes possible for the standard laboratory mouse. Aggression and separation are natural outputs in any family when you remove all the walls in their home. At Helm Technologies, we developed the Mouse Cubby to allow mice to communicate submission to dominant mice through natural line-of-sight avoidance. The Cubbies also provide natural burrowing which enriches the environment during the two weeks between cage changes. While using the Mouse Cubbies are our facilities, we have not had to separate or euthanize our mice due to aggression. This increases our research capacity and saves costs.
