Help Kurdistan is an independent charity foundation registered in Sweden in accordance with Swedish law for charity foundations (Stiftelselagen). The purpose is to be a crisis and catastrophe organization for all parts of Kurdistan. We aim to be the first organization with boots on the ground when a crisis or catastrophe occurs in Kurdistan, both man-made and nature disaster. We also aim to prepare for coming events trough simulation training and catastrophe plans for different parts of Kurdistan.
Beyond being a crisis and catastrophe organization we aim to contribute to democratization and reform of Kurdistan through help to the education sector and health care sector. We also aim to strengthen the rights and position of children and women in Kurdistan in accordance with the declaration of United Nations human rights and children’s rights.
