I am Iffy (founder of Help You Get It Tutors) When I was young, I liked math but struggled a lot with it and felt that "I couldn't hack it" so I just gave up. My parents got me a tutor who forever changed the way that I would look at math and so much more 😊. It also set me upon a curious path of learning "how to teach anything" to anyone. People say I have a true talent for it. I have more than 20+ years & easily 30000+ hours worth of professional experience specializing in test prep (PSAT/SAT,ACT,GMAT/GRE/ISEE/HSPT/SSAT/GED), tutoring (centered around mathematics and English), college admissions consulting plus essay editing. I am also a bit of a nerd with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Computer Engineering + an MBA too. We come up with a customized plan to address the specific issues of each student with result-driven solutions. The end-goal is comprehension. I am available 7 days a week (by appointment only) for private lessons as well as free 20 minute phone or video consultations. During our consultation, I gather information to do the in-depth customized analysis and plan for the student. For each private tutoring student, I provide all requisite materials and assignments at no additional costs. Homework is always assigned after each session. Tutoring times are flexible with online options (fully interactive with whiteboard and secure access). We reside in Los Angeles, California and work with students (nation-wide + internationally).
