#HELP22 (www.help22.org) was founded by Dr. Keith Ablow, Commander Kirk Lippold, USN Ret and Christian Josi to combat the epidemic of suicide amongst our nation's veterans.
OUR MISSION: The purpose of #HELP22 is to reinforce the will to live among our veterans and military service members through coaching, counseling, and mentoring.
OUR VISION: Our vision is to reduce the approximately 22 suicides per day among veterans without charging any veteran for our efforts. It is to use insight, empathy and energy to kindle hope.
WHAT IS #HELP22? #HELP22 is a network of volunteers skilled in listening who offer their assistance to veterans free of charge. They proactively impart hopeful, inspirational messaging to fuel resiliency.
WHAT #HELP22 IS NOT: #HELP22 is not a crisis organization and does not function in any emergency capacity. We attempt to prevent such cases by active listening and motivational communications to veterans on an ongoing basis.
