Helping Hands Community Project

Founded in 2015, Helping Hands provides a safe space for vulnerable people in the local community. We provide opportunities to build a better future for those experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, isolation, mental health challenges and poverty. Since beginning our mission, our offering has grown to better meet the needs of the individuals and families we support. Our services now include: ● Soup kitchens ● Support groups for men and women ● One-to-one support ● A trained counselling service ● Supported volunteering ● Access to qualification opportunities ● House2Home furniture provision project ● Lighthouse charity shop We simply couldn’t exist without the help of our fantastic sponsors and team of over 100 volunteers.
