We lived or worked at Henderson Hospital, Main House or Webb House, the three 'Henderson' Democratic Therapeutic Communities. We came together to curate the archive of the Henderson Hospital that was salvaged when that community was peremptorily closed in 2008. We are developing an oral history project which we call 'Experiences in Communities', in which we work to capture the testimonies of people who lived at or worked at the Henderson Communities from 1947, when the original 'Henderson Hospital' opened at Belmont, to 2008, when its final incarnation had its doors closed.
