Henry + Dow

M. Shane Henry is an attorney at Henry & Dow in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Henry practices civil litigation, family law and criminal defense, serving clients in Tulsa, Norman and the Oklahoma City region. He is admitted in all Oklahoma state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Mr. Henry received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa and received his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He has been licensed to practice law since 2007 and has more than 10 years of experience. He was trained in negotiation skills training taught by Harvard Law School faculty and received training through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. In addition, Mr. Henry has completed the Roger Dodd Trial Skills Clinic and the family law trial advocacy institutes through the American Bar Association and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Henry has lectured at several continuing legal education seminars, including the Oklahoma Bar Association’s family law section trial advocacy institute. An active member of his legal community, Mr. Henry has served in various roles with the Tulsa County Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. He also belongs to the Creek County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Henry has been recognized for his achievements, including attaining the highest rating of AV Preeminent* from the respected peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell. He received the “10 Best” award in terms of client satisfaction from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s family law section named him “Family Law Attorney of the Year” in 2016.
