Hephaestus core business is to design, supply, install and service, among others, boilers and co-generation plants running on liquid, gaseous and biomass fuels. Process and pressure vessels, control systems and other related accessories and equipment including heat exchangers, heat recovery equipment and economizers are included in the plant's product list. Hephaestus history starts back in 1926 in a small workshop in Thessaloniki’s Historical Center near the Port where a group of craftsmen produce coal and biomass fuel steam boilers. It was combined with experience, hard work and excellent craftsmanship thus resulting into superior constructions. Our aim was always to improve constantly our manufacturing process and the quality of the final products and services to our customers. In 1960 we have invented the first machine for the production of corrugated furnaces. This expertise was - and remains - a unique privilege to only limited companies worldwide. Increased export activities of corrugated furnaces and other pressure parts to boiler manufacturers around the world enabled us to establish step-by-step our strong International business links. In the 70’s, Hephaestus, sharing the global efforts for environmental protection and efficient management of energy resources, designed and constructed pioneering systems for the improved combustion of gaseous and liquid fuels while exploiting new types of bio-mass fuels. In addition new series of improved efficiency boilers and heat economizers were introduced into the shop floor. For almost a century commitment to total quality and after sales service represents the company’s strategic intent for the sustainable growth of the business.
