HEPT (Hera Environmental Protection Technologies) is a Chinese Joint Venture between the Italian Hera Group and local partner Hi-Firm Group. The company was established in China in 2013 with the aim of providing a full range of waste treatment and disposal solutions.
HEPT is specialised in the supply of waste to energy (WtE) incineration lines:
- Rotary kiln systems for hazardous waste incineration
- Water cooled moving grate systems for municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration
HEPT has become a leading provider of European technology and components for the design and construction of high efficiency WtE plants with the lowest emissions in the sector, working with its Italian partners to locally manufacture all incineration line components according to HEPT design and specification.
The company has grown significantly and today has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an and Chongqing, as well as in Prato, Italy. Having a considerable pipeline of projects across China, HEPT is now looking to extend its geographical reach as a technology provider by identifying partners with whom to deliver WtE plants in high potential markets where there is a clear need for new waste treatment capacity.
