For girls who do what lights them up ✨🤎. When Anu & Naya arrived in the UK as postgraduate students in Marketing, they had big dreams. Their first goal? Landing a one-year placement in marketing. But that didn’t happen. They also felt isolated and uncertain. They quickly realized that building the career they loved would take more than just a passion for marketing. As immigrants, everyone around them was telling them to follow the usual path, to settle for the norm. But they knew they wanted more. And that’s how this community was born, a safe space where African female immigrants in the UK can learn, grow, share, and be empowered as they navigate creative and marketing careers they really love.
