Girl Up Rise

We live in a time of constant change - change in technology, political environment, social perceptions and forms of associations. In atmospheres of such palpable uncertainties, it becomes imperative that we voice our opinions and stand our ground. GirlUp Rise, LSR Chapter is one such platform that facilitates expression of identities and reclamation of physical and metaphorical spaces. It aims at pushing forth for gender equality by enabling girls with adequate resources to initiate movements of change. With more than 3,300 clubs registered in 50 U.S. states and 2 territories and 118 countries, Girl Up Clubs are champions for change. As our most active supporters, Girl Up Clubs have a huge impact on girls around the world, empowering both people in their own communities and adolescent girls in developing countries to rise up. Through education, fundraising, advocacy and service, Girl Up Club members develop the leadership skills necessary to make a positive difference in the lives of girls everywhere.
