Her Tech Africa

Her Tech Africa is more than an initiative: it’s a movement, and we are a Registered Non-Governmental Organisation. Born from the heart of a young woman who once struggled to find mentorship, visibility, and belief in her potential, we exist to rewrite that story for thousands of girls and women across Africa and beyond. We’re building an ecosystem where women and girls, no matter their background, are equipped with digital skills, STEM/STEAM exposure, community support, and the confidence to take up space in the tech and innovation landscape. From digital training cohorts to grassroots school outreaches, from 1:1 mentorship programs to empowering masterclasses, we are reaching lives, one woman at a time. In just a year, we’ve: Reached 2,000+ women and girls across 8 countries 🌍 Launched Her STEM Club to nurture future girl innovators 👩🏽🔬 Built a supportive, volunteer-powered tech sisterhood 💜 Trained women in tech, innovation and leadership for FREE👩🏽💻 Partnered with changemakers, organisations, companies, schools, and mentors to scale impact 🚀 Provided job opportunities for women with digital skills.
