The mission of Heray Spice is to bring the authentic and rich saffron and other flavors of Afghanistan to the world while empowering Afghan farmers through fair trade practices. We are committed to sustainability, quality, and creating a positive impact on the lives of the communities they work with, particularly focusing on uplifting women and promoting economic development in Afghanistan. Through their spice offerings, Heray Spice aims to share the story and heritage of Afghan culture, while also contributing to a more equitable global food system. At Heray Spice, we cultivate and import authentic Afghani saffron from our farmers Co-Op in Herat Province of Afghanistan.We have been family farmers for the last 16 years; currently, we are in partner with 155 family farmers to import their saffron to US. 5% of our company profit is used to build and supply schools for Afghan children through Code To Inspire.
