Herbas® – Urban Herbalism & Cannabis Education in West Harlem Herbas® is a creative herbal education initiative I founded to help people reconnect with plants, wellness, and community healing traditions. While we no longer sell CBD products, our mission remains rooted in teaching others how to use herbs and natural remedies to support holistic well-being. As a New York State Office of Cannabis Management–Certified Cannabis Coach, we lead DIY herbal workshops that combine traditional knowledge, hands-on creativity, and accessible science. Our classes are designed for small groups, community events, and organizations, and cover topics such as: Herbal infusions and salves Bath salts and body care products Healing with cacao Kombucha brewing Vegan cheese making Vegan Dominican cooking Cannabis, CBD, and terpenes 101 Cannabis conversations with family Urban gardening and medicinal plant cultivation We maintain an urban container garden in West Harlem, growing a variety of medicinal herbs for our workshops and demonstrations. Since 2016, we’ve been advocating and sharing knowledge in English and Spanish about the benefits of cannabis, CBD, and herbal wellness. Our goal is simple: to give people the tools and confidence to begin their own journey back to natural healing and plant-based living.
