"Hermosa Collars is about family, connection, adventure, giving back and living life to it's fullest!...." - Summer Gilbert , Founder/Creative Director Hermosa Collars was inspired by merging our love for dogs, art , all things ocean and outdoors. When Rio joined our family our life was forever changed, this 100 pound Silver Labrador was all things love and adventure. He tagged along on all our journeys and was always down for a good time. We had a hard time finding him the right collars for his lifestyle. We would find something functional but it was really boring looking, or we would find a cool design and it would be a low quality collar and didn't last more than a month. Growing up in an artistic / active community we knew we could merge the two and come up with a one of a kind, comfortable, good looking collar that would last. A few months after talking about the idea, we put our heads together and made it happen. We are a husband and wife team from Southern California and we founded Hermosa Collars for the person who appreciates quality and craftsmanship. Another large pillar to what Hermosa Collars stands for, is our passion for giving back. So we implemented a sales structure that allows every customer to pick from a list of charities that is closest to their heart to give 5% of their purchase to.
