Heroz Engineering is a niche consultancy that specializes in providing Engineering services and solutions to the energy sector. Heroz Founder and Director Daniel Herrera is an accomplished and certified Engineer (CPEng NER RPEQ) with more than 20 years of experience in the design of overhead powerlines and power structures (ranging from 11kV to 330kV), manufacturing of steel poles and design training. Australia’s energy sector is experiencing unprecedented growth with significant investment and expansion of transmission and distribution networks. This expansion comes with an increased demand for experienced and skilled people to be relied upon to support and sustain the energy transition. Heroz Engineering’s mission is to assist other organizations (consultancies, utilities, construction contractors) involved with the delivery of transmission and substation projects with their engineering needs when there is a need to uplift their own capabilities or when their engineering teams need to scale to cope with high demand of projects. Services provided by Heroz Engineering: • Consulting services in the area of overhead powerline design. • Detailed design of overhead powerlines using PLS CADD, PLS Pole and TOWER. • Structural analysis of power structures using PLS Pole, TOWER, Spacegass and Autodesk Inventor & Nastran (FEA). • Design for manufacturing of steel poles. • Assessment of existing powerlines, thermal rating investigations, vegetation clearance checks, reconductoring, structural assessment of power structures and powerlines subject to ground subsidence. • Third party independent design verification & certification. • RPEQ certification (Mechanical & Structural). • Design compliance with applicable Australian and International standards including AS/NZS 7000, AS/NZS1170.2, AS 3600, AS 2159, ASCE/SEI 10 & ASCE/SEI 48. • PLS CADD, PLS Pole and TOWER training
