Herz-Focus Wiesbaden

DEAR COLLEAGUE, It has now become a tradition in Wiesbaden: after the winter holidays, the HERZFocus Congress takes place. I am delighted to invite you again to this event on January 15, 2025, at the Dorint Hotel in Wiesbaden. Each year, cardiology brings many new developments, and we gladly take the opportunity to learn from nationally and internationally renowned speakers. This allows us to start the new year optimally prepared to treat our patients. The theme of the 2025 event is "What's new in cardiology?" This time, I have opted to forego the usual workshops in favor of interactive case discussions. In the first session, pulmonologist Dr. Gall will present interesting cases from his field. In the second session, echocardiographer Dr. Leube-Amato will showcase impressive cases on the topic of heart valve therapy with a “before and after” effect. The keynote lecture is also dedicated to the topic of heart valve therapy, titled "HEART in Focus: Mitral Valve Therapy with Carillon." The main program will then cover innovations in important cardiological conditions: syncope, pacemaker therapy, atrial fibrillation, chronic coronary syndrome, heart failure, and heart valve diseases. At the end of the evening, you can look forward to an exciting ECG quiz between the junior doctors of the JoHo. As always, a high scientific level is guaranteed.
