The Herzhauser Racing Nitro Funny Car team competes in the World’s Fastest Sport - 330MPH National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing. The NHRA is comprised of multiple, professionally owned and sponsored race teams that compete each year to win the Mission Foods Championship. The Mission Foods Drag Racing Series is comprised of a 14-race "regular season" and a 6-race "playoff." The Series champion is decided by a points structure earned during playoff races. Regular season event winners earn Playoff points and a NHRA “Wally” trophy, named after NHRA Founder Wally Parks.
