Hesed World

Hesed World Association is an independent non-profit organization, established in 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland. Our work is founded on the promise of the world's burgeoning youth and the profound impact of intergenerational mentorship. We chose the name Hesed – a word meaning loving-kindness, compassion, and helping others – because we believe in the transformative power of community and collective action. We envision a world where youth in developing countries have equitable access to economic opportunity in order to thrive and contribute to nations that are prosperous, resilient, and socio-economically stable. That's why we're on a mission to equip young changemakers in low-to-middle income countries to drive sustainable development in their own communities. We aim to achieve this by connecting emerging leaders, aged 18-30 years, with seasoned sustainable development professionals. We believe that this combination – the dynamism of young changemakers, and the support, wisdom and experience of seasoned mentors – will create a powerful synergy, one that catalyzes sustainable development.
