Welding equipment includes SMAW, GMAW (including pulse), FCAW, GTAW, PAW, and OFW; manual and mechanized methods are available for most processes. Ovens for post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) and specimen ageing are also on hand.
An in-house machine shop enables rapid creation of mock-ups, prototypes, and joint geometries for projects as well as preparation of test specimens from weldments.
Testing equipment includes tensile tester (60,000 lbf), Charpy tester (240 ft-lbf), bend testers (AWS, ASME, API 1104, etc.), Rockwell hardness, Knoop micro-hardness, metallographic preparation equipment, and a variety of microscopes.
