HeuristicDev: The Mentoring Hub is a UK Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO - Foundation registration pending) that provides education, training and mentoring programs and activities and all the necessary support designed to promote diversity and equality of opportunity for people who are under-represented in Digital Technology or STEM industry roles, to support them into employment or advancement in their careers, in particular but not exclusively through structured mentoring, career and technical advisory services, and essential and technical skills development.
It carries out general advocacy in Digital Technology and STEM industries to raise awareness, promote and advance diversity and equality of opportunity.
It also undertakes and promotes research into the under-representation of people from particular ethnic or racial origins, or those discriminated against on the grounds of age, sex or sexual orientation, and disseminates the useful results, including best practices to remove barriers to inclusion and routes to empowerment.
