We have provided our unique expertise in structural design and engineering to projects in more than 38 states and in other countries. Jim Heyer P.E., President, is a registered design professional who founded the Company in 1983 after extensive structural design experience with a regional firm. Jim Heyer P.E. is licensed in 36 states. Since 1983, Heyer Engineering has expanded and continues to expand in both personnel and in project types. From our beginning in the early 80's we have undertaken over 10,000 projects varying in type and complexity. Our projects range from retail, hospitality, educational and light commercial to governmental, industrial, energy, food processing and military. Projects of these types range from small in cost and simple in design to large complex multimillion-dollar hockey arenas, hospitals, university research and aerospace facilities.
