The LGBTQ+ community faces significant barriers, including limited access to financial resources, higher rates of poverty, and discrimination in and outside of the workplace. Did you know that less than a percent of US businesses are LGBTQ owned? We believe we can bring more visibility and support to these businesses, which can inspire the next generation of LGBTQ+ founders. More LGBTQ+ folks who can build sustainable and impactful businesses could lead to more opportunities to drive positive change for our community. That’s why at Famm, our goal is to: • Drive as much business as possible to LGBTQ+ founders • Showcase businesses made and offered by the LGBTQ+ community • Share stories and learnings out with the rest of the LGBTQ+ community • Take it a step further by CONNECTING these people in a community driven professional networking platform So what exactly is Famm? We are a website where you can discover LGBTQ+ owned brands, services and learn about their stories. We are also the first ever social networking app made by and for the queer professional community! Our goal is to impact the queer economy in big ways.
