The Health Innovation Hub is the University of Alberta’s lead life sciences incubator for innovators and entrepreneurs working towards better human health outcomes. Managed by API, HIH programming includes comprehensive consulting support to allow ventures to build, test, validate, and grow. The Health Innovation Hub (HIH) acts as a catalyst for start-ups looking to navigate their ideas along the complex regulatory and commercialization pathway faced by life sciences companies. Our mission is to expand the support and opportunities available to those working towards creating life sciences and health technology solutions, which includes: - Connection between industry and academia through a two-way nexus between API and the University of Alberta - Access to incubation and training programs - Access to shared office and lab space - Connection to a community of entrepreneurs, mentors, resources, and services - Personalized support and discounted partner services to life sciences start-ups - Access to workshops and events related to innovation and entrepreneurship for life sciences technologies
