La compañía Hi-Tech Prosthetic, fundada por el Protesista certificado Frank I. Ucrós en el 2001, fue establecida en el pueblo de Aguadilla ante la necesidad de los pacientes de esta zona para obtener los servicios de prótesis y ortitesis. Se establecieron tres oficinas ubicadas en los pueblos de Aguadilla, Hatillo y San Germán para dar al paciente la oportunidad de visitar la más cercada a su hogar. Esto les brinda la seguridad que en caso de requerir asistencia o algún servicio de emergencia, contaran con la prontitud de nuestra visita.
Desde sus inicios, la compañía se enfocó en brindar servicios especializados en el campo de las prótesis y ortesis pre-fabricadas y hechas a la medida. Nuestra intención es devolver la capacidad de ser independientes y mejorar su calidad de vida, a los pacientes que han tenido una amputación o requieran de algún equipo ortótico.
