In California alone, thousands of homes burn to the ground each year because of wildfires, and the numbers are only increasing as over 3.5 Million California homes are located within high-risk wildfire areas. When these devastated homes are rebuilt, they are constructed using materials ineffective to wildfires- because Nothing Is Fireproof. Wildfires typically burn 3X hotter than the best fire-retardant materials can handle. This means that any house, neighborhood, or community that a wildfire targets will be destroyed– until now. HiberTec Homes is an innovative, cutting-edge, fully-patented, and AFFORDABLE design & process where custom fully-scalable modular homes automatically lower completely underground when wildfire threats arise- to then resurface safely to ground level after the threat has passed. (We also protect against severe wind events!) The entire process of transitioning a HiberTec Home to its protective underground vault is estimated to be 15 minutes or less, and will be fully-automated, designed to be initiated via an app on any Smartphone. Before hydraulically lowering underground, the home’s sewer, water, and utility lines are disconnected via our patented system that ensures safe and proper transitioning. A non-toxic fire-retardant system sprays the immediate area surrounding the home as it descends. Once final descent has completed, our patented retractable alloy roof structure deploys to temporarily seal the vault’s enclosure. In addition to homes, HiberTec will also fully defend businesses, plus government buildings (schools, hospitals, fire departments, etc.) as all of these have burned down.
