Founded in 2019 as an offshoot of the Helvetian Investment Club, HIC Capital is the student-run investment fund at the University of St. Gallen and one of the preeminent academic investment societies in Europe.
HIC Capital operates a long-only equity virtual fund with a global mandate. Our investment process embodies the St. Gallen ethos, bringing academic rigour to bear on real-world problems. We thrive on identifying attack vectors to difficult problems, exhaustive fundamental analysis and contrarian investment ideas.
We are currently a team of over 30 passionate analysts, portfolio managers and sector leads. HIC Capital actively recruits the best and brightest students at the University of St. Gallen each year through a highly selective admissions process. The recruitment cycle for our analyst program takes place at the beginning of each fall semester.
