Based in Silverdale, Hick Bros Civil Construction Ltd has been a significant force in the earthmoving industry since its formation in 1986. Originally the company was established by four brothers - Bob, Wayne, Bill, and Steve; all of whom brought with them extensive experience in the earthmoving industry working both individually and combining for larger projects. We pride ourselves in our ability to identify and deliver on a client’s key drivers by encouraging a comprehensive team approach - both within our own structure, and in conjunction with any others working on a project. Hick Bros has extensive experience in the specialist area of heavy earthmoving for a variety of projects, including the development of land and construction of roads. We have wide-ranging experience both in the bulk earthmoving and civil construction industries, which enables us to recognise and act on all areas of construction risk and opportunity. This experience means we have comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand conditions, and positioned us as leaders in the use of specialised construction techniques within major infrastructure, commercial and residential land development projects.
