Hifi develops high fidelity fiber optic monitoring technology for oil and gas applications. Our turn key fiber optic sensing platforms include specialized sensing cables, data acquisitions systems, various artificial intelligence and machine learning software algorithms and interface software. Hifi is dedicated to developing extremely high quality sensing, using specialized, fiber optic sensors and software, specifically designed for solving oil & gas related challenges including preventative pipeline leak detection and operational monitoring. Hifi has over 60 patents, and was the 2013 winner of the ASTech award presented by the Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation for outstanding achievements in science and technology, the Global Petroleum Show 2019 Digital Innovator of the Year award, the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) Foundation 2019 Innovation award, and the 2021 Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Leadership Award for excellence in the fiber optic sensing industry.
