Founded by African American Women, Higher Ground Wellness Group is on a mission to create a safe haven of healing and growth for everyone, with a special focus on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)communities.
Our vision is clear: Break down the barriers of stigma surrounding mental health in BIPOC communities . We're here to raise awareness and increase access to vital mental health resources.
Choosing therapy is an act of courage, and with over 50 years of combined experience, Higher Ground Wellness Group is dedicated to offering comprehensive, top-tier therapeutic services for individuals, couples, families, and groups in an environment that's judgment-free and nurturing.
Healing isn't one-size-fits-all. That's why at Higher Ground Wellness Group, we embrace a holistic approach to well-being. We incorporate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, EMDR, IFS, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Emotional Focus Therapy.
