Higher Oak Farm is a small family run, natural farm offering free range chickens
and eggs for sale in Cheshire. At Higher Oak Farm we care passionately about the provenance of our birds, bees and eggs. We believe in farming as naturally as possible. We believe in working in harmony with nature and try to give all our animals as natural an environment as possible. We feel that by farming everything naturally, the taste is Naturally Better.
Higher Oak Farm is a friendly, family run, natural farm in the village of Lymm, Cheshire. We have 16 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside positioned between Manchester and Liverpool. We specialise in traditional and rare breed poultry but also have select Crossbreed & Hybrid hens available. Our hens and cockerels vary in age, from day old to point of lay and are for sale to all customers throughout UK. We also have both hatching and eating eggs for sale at the farm.
Our eating eggs are available daily, directly from the farm. Hatching eggs are available to collect from the farm or can be sent out using nationwide delivery.
We currently have 10 beehives on the farm and now offer pure raw honey and other handmade products from the harvested beeswax; such as our beeswax candles.
Here on Higher Oak Farm, we are set back from the summit of the red sandstone escarpment that runs along the southern edge of the Mersey valley. We are between Manchester and Liverpool and only 10 minutes from both the M6 and M56. Our position so close to a major a motorway junction makes for easy access for buying hens or hatching eggs to customers from Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire.
We welcome newcomers to chicken keeping, and are happy to offer plenty of friendly chicken keeping help and advice.
