Highlight Studios NYC

Located on 30th Street between Park and Madison Avenues, Highlight Studios offers the only authentic north light studio in New York City. With all of the conveniences of a modern studio catering to digital and/or film based photography, Highlight Studios was built to optimal specifications as established in the 1850s. North-light photographic studio and lighting conditions were made famous in the 20th century by icons including Nadar, Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, and they continue to be the industry standard. With two north-facing studios available, Studio A is our premier photographic studio located on the top floor of the building. Studio A is constructed with a sloped, north facing wall of windows plus a glass ceiling that allows for continuous soft light throughout the day. Studio B is also designed with a full wall of north-facing windows and is located just below Studio A on the 3rd floor. Additionally we have a Rooftop Deck available for open air shoots and events.
