Hikmah Institute is a nonprofit and nonpolitical educational institute dedicated to the propagation of the divine teachings of Islam to bring about a positive change in our society through Ilm, Da’wah, Islah and Khidhmah. Our mission is to instill love for Islam in the hearts of men so that they may rediscover their lost Islamic identity and come closer to Deen for a successful life in this world and the hereafter. The ultimate aim is to produce individuals who achieve excellence in Deen and Dunya, and who become a catalyst of positive change in the society. WHAT WE DO? We conduct Islamic educational courses, topical workshops and lectures designed for students and professionals, focusing on both the ta’leem and tarbiyah aspects of personal development and self-reformation. Our programs introduce the theoretical and practical aspects of classical Islamic knowledge and scholarship through modern approaches and are offered at our campus as well as other educational institutes and venues in Karachi. The philosophy of our programs is distinct in its embrace of the entire academic tradition of the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’a with respect for all scholars of Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, and Usul al-fiqh. Hikmah Institute also tries to play its part in giving back to the needy segments of our society by conducting fundraisers and relief efforts for natural calamities, ration packs distribution drives in Ramadan and distribution of meat on Eid-ul-Adha.
