Hildashaus e.V. is a non-profit organization that works with displaced FLINTA* people aged 45 and over. They often face significant challenges due to overlapping forms of discrimination, especially on the basis of gender, origin and age, which leads to lower economic and social participation rates compared to refugee men, migrants and German FLINTA* persons.
Our aim is to strengthen social participation and economic self-determination through a holistic approach that combines health and psychological support with practical education and skills development opportunities. We take a culturally and gender-sensitive, intersectional and participatory approach in safe spaces-both virtual and physical-that recognizes and respects different strengths, experiences and abilities, without language barriers.
We achieve this through three programs: ‘Menstrual and Menopause Awareness’, ‘Holistic Approach to Health and Wellbeing’ and the ‘Hildashaus Academy’.
