At Hildrey Studio we use architecture to improve the world around us. We do this through the design of buildings, spaces, services, landscapes, experiences, and art. We're particularly interested in working withclients to improve their status quo, create wider social impact, and navigate complex problems. We offer both design and consultancy services to help individuals and organisations create the change they desire.
Since being established in 2018, the studio has won national and international awards for its work including TIME Magazine's Best Inventions of 2021, the D&AD Impact Award for Humanitarian Aid, the Innovation in Politics Award for Human Rights, the Royal Institute of British Architects' President's Medal for Research, and the Guardian's Best Designs of 2022.
Our work has been named one of the Beazley Designs of the Year and the studio was named one of the Top 100 Changemakers by The Big Issue and one of the 100 Architects of the Year by the Korean Institute of Architects in both 2019 and 2020.
The studio's work has been exhibited internationally, including in Times Square and the Guggenheim Museum, New York and featured in publications including TIME Magazine, The New York Times, Wired, BBC, GQ, The Times, The Telegraph, Business Insider, and The Guardian - as well as being featured on television, radio, and podcasts including 99% Invisible. Its work is stored in the permanent collections of both The V&A and The Design Museum, London.
