Hill Acme Machine Ltd

Hill Acme Welding & Machine Ltd is based out of Kindersley, SK, Canada. The company was started by Machinist, David Hill Sr. in 1971 with a small shop, lathe, bandsaw, drill press and a small steel rack. Retiring in 1997, he handed the keys to his son, David Jr.. In 1994 Doug Scribner started apprenticing under Sr. and continues to work with a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing, repairing and designing various projects in the Oilfield & Agriculture Industries. Over the years, various additions were added to the building for Retail Parts, Welding Shop, Hose Shop and Office. In 2014, the business was purchased by Jordin and Natalie Down. Jordin is a Journeyman Welder and Natalie was a School Teacher prior. Since acquiring Hill Acme, the Downs have added five positions to their team. Currently employing a Machinist, two Welders (one of which is B Pressure Certified), a Laborer experienced with Welding and Mechanics, another with Hydraulics and Mechanics, two Parts men, and an Office Administrator. Striving for quality and reliability, Hill Acme continues to be the go-to place in West Central Saskatchewan for hard to find parts, all repairs from Service Rigs to Peppermills (true story), and everything in between.
