About Himalayan Trust UK
The Himalayan Trust UK provide health and education training to the mountain people of the Nepal Himalaya (particularly in the Tapljung region) to help them lead healthier lives and to give children the tools to go on to further education to better serve their communities. We still hold to the guiding principles laid down by Sir Edmund Hillary when he founded the first Himalayan Trust in 1960.
