HIMATEK-ITB

HIMATEK-ITB is a nonprofit student union organized by Chemical Engineering students in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). The union was founded on 26 September 1952. Our union is aiming to (1) Be the supportive roles to achieve Chemical Engineering Department ITB education and teaching goals in chemical engineering science; (2) Develop professionalism attitude in chemical engineering students as early as possible and enhance the ability of our human resource through variety of the union's activities that support development of chemical engineering profession; (3) Provide features/style/patterns towards the dynamics of student's affair in Indonesia by maintaining critical, rational, open-minded, pioneering, and idealism character in facing the nation's problems. Notable events that had been organized by the union are (1) IChEC, short for Indonesia Chemical Engineering Challenge, a regional chemical engineering competitions for students, especially from South East Asia; (2) STKSR, short for Seminar Teknik Kimia Soehadi Reksowardojo, a bi-annual seminar organized by both the union and Chemical Engineering Department in ITB which mostly discuss the development of chemical engineering technology and science. *) This account is managed by Professional Development of HIMATEK-ITB #BERPIJAR #ShapingYourFuture
