El proyecto HIMUGI abordará 3 ejes tecnológicos:
1. Investigación en materiales sostenibles y procesos de fabricación avanzados para tanques Tipo IV en configuraciones de tipo tubular.
2. Investigación de componentes metálicos críticos, abordando aspectos de diseño, fabricación aditiva y fragilización.
3. Seguridad integral del sistema para el uso de H2 en movilidad.
El proyecto HIMUGI es parte del programa HAZITEK 2024 del Gobierno Vasco. Está coordinado por la empresa ARGOLABE INGENIERÍA y cuenta con la participación de otras 9 empresas vascas: FIDEGAS, IP CASTRO, IK INGENIERÍA, MARISKONE, OPTIMUS3D, TAMOIN, TEAM INGENIERÍA Y CONSULTORÍA, TRAFAG y ULMA FORJA.
También colaboran en el proyecto 3 centros tecnológicos: CIDETEC, CEIT y TECNALIA.
