Hinge Therapeutics is a drug discovery company based in Southern California, USA, advancing two proprietary platforms: Hingeomics and EMotIon. Our mission is to support patients and their families affected by diseases with high unmet medical needs, and to improve their quality of life through meaningful scientific innovation. Our Hinge Drug Discovery Platform, powered by Hingeomics, integrates multi-omics data with protein conformational dynamics to uncover mechanisms that are often invisible to traditional genomic and proteomic methods. Hingeomics helps answer critical biological questions such as: – Why do individuals with the same mutation show different phenotypes? – What triggers amyloidosis and other pathological conformational changes? The platform is especially well-suited for rare diseases, drug resistance, and biomarker discovery. Our pipeline includes programs in hemophilia, inflammation, surgical adhesion, and sepsis. Our second platform, EMotIon (Extracellular Multi-Ion Dynamic Imaging), provides real-time, high-resolution visualization of extracellular ion dynamics such as potassium and chloride. These ions are essential regulators of brain development, neuroinflammation, excitability, and degeneration. EMotIon addresses major unmet needs in neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies (DEEs), multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer’s disease—where there are currently no other technologies capable of capturing extracellular ion homeostasis with comparable precision.
