Hipstorical is a travel blog about repurposed places, created by Kelsey Knoedler. "Wherever I travel, I’m on the lookout for unique, converted places. A restaurant that used to be a bank. A hotel in an old prison. A historic firehouse turned hip bar or music venue. I am inspired by the small business owner who sees an old, dilapidated building and understands its historical significance and beauty. He saves it from the wrecking ball by reinventing it and making it something new but preserves its original integrity.
