A-State Career Development and Engagement

Career Development and Engagement’s mission is to connect students to their career while also linking them to a network of professional alumni and friends. We are here to guide A-State students and alumni in finding the right career-related opportunities for them and to help build the skills needed for a successful job hunt. Our office provides a variety of services, including major and occupation advising, resume and cover letter writing workshops, interview coaching, graduate school planning, job fairs and other networking opportunities. A-State is a Handshake school. Handshake provides event and workshops scheduling, resume posting, career exploration, job posting, interviewing and networking tools for students, alumni, employers, and faculty.
