SWAN is a BIPOC led organization that believes balanced and sustainable organizational systems and culture result in greater impact. Given the events of 2020 and 2021, organizations and leaders are facing a tectonic shift that has exacerbated the need to look at internal structures and organizational culture. Most current organizational cultures are not able to effectively address the racial, gender, gender identity, age and other tensions we collectively face. SWAN leaders and stakeholders asked the powerful questions - What are the biggest challenges organizations, foundations and networks are facing? & What is SWAN’s role in providing solutions and support to address these challenges? WHAT WE DO Our mission is to support and guide organizations and leaders to cultivate safe, diverse, balanced, harmonious, and sustainable internal structures and organizational cultures. Our vision is a global culture of inclusive organizations that are sustainable and grounded by healthy internal practices. HOW DO WE DO THIS We provide senior level support to organizations, foundations, networks and senior leadership teams by facilitating organizational assessments, strategic planning, board development, succession planning and team building. We support BIPOC and LBGTQ+ individuals and organizations through coalition building, trauma informed healing sessions, providing individual and group coaching, webinar, and planning and team building sessions and retreats that address societal and infrastructure barriers to sustainable and impactful transformational change. We increase organizations’ and leaders' abilities to excel through coaching, training, webinars and events, grounded in inclusive, sustainable and healthy internal organizational culture, values, and practices.
