With a rated capacity of 20.000 tons per annum, Hisar is not only one of the largest foundries in Turkey, but also one of the leading integrated steel foundries in the world. Since its formation in 1964, Hisar has invested heavily in automated, state of the art production technology and a highly skilled work force to maintain its competitiveness and to meet customer demands. Material grades range from SG Irons to Steel Base and on to more exotic materials such as Hi-Chromium Irons, Special Alloy Cast Steels, Graphitic Steels and Ferritic Irons. Over 12,000 tonnes of rolls, rings, sleeves and arbours can be manufactured up to the present–day size limit of 25 tonnes finished weight.
